Vehicle vs building accident

Royal Oak Professional Firefighters responded to a vehicle vs building accident. Several of the balcony’s structural supports were damaged or completely removed by the vehicle. Members of the Technical Rescue Team built shoring to provide support to the balcony. No injuries were reported.

SFR had the pleasure of hosting one of our regional response partners at an acquired structure in town this morning. Crews sharpened their shoring skills in a partially collapsed structure, making it safe to search for survivors. Practicing skills with our regional response partners better prepares all of us to respond to large scale disasters as well as smaller incidents that can impact our community. #beready #bettertogether
