On Sunday, June 19th, units from the District of Columbia Fire/EMS Department responded to the intersection of 4th & Franklin NE for a motor vehicle accident, arriving to find two victims trapped in an SUV.
Rescue 1 arrived on the scene, stabilized the vehicle and put the tools to work. Engine 12, Truck 15, Battalion Fire Chief 1 and EMS units assisted in a team effort. The roof was removed and both victims in the vehicle were extricated. Three patients were transported to area hospitals.

This Heavy Rescue apparatus comes with a 750 GPM Hale MBP75-29 Pump Station, a 70″ x 60″ Swing-Out Tool Board, KL Slim Light Tower, and much more.
