Blowing Rock Fire and Rescue

Unique response areas require unique features in rescue rigs. Blowing Rock is located in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range with the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail skirting the town.  The fire department required an agile heavy rescue that could maneuver the steep grades and winding mountain roads. One feature of this rig is the amount of useable storage space available and a short wheelbase to help with maneuvering the tight roadways.

For complete specifications please checkout Hackney Emergency Vehicles.

Gin Pole

The Blowing Rock Fire and Rescue Rescue has an Amkus Gin Pole that is designed to be deployed from the rear of the vehicle.
