Ferrara took the term murdered out to another level at FDIC 2016 with Delhi, Louisiana’s new Squad 51. While it is technically a “Rescue Pumper” it is setup to held a bunch of equipment. Just in case you think black will be difficult to see at night, the Delhi Fire Department stated on their Facebook page “All lettering and emblems are reflective. Also we have plenty of flash lighting on the sides”.

When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, Elkhart Fire Department chose a 26′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Sutphen Monarch chassis, which houses an X12 Cummins engine and Allison 4000 6-speed transmission. This Heavy Rescue apparatus comes with a 750 GPM Hale MBP75-29 Pump Station, a 70″ x 60″ Swing-Out Tool Board, KL Slim Light Tower, and much more.
