The Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Company in New Jersey purchased a 2017 KME Tandem Axle Heavy Rescue that is packed full of tech rescue equipment.

Heavy Rescue

Delta, BC Fire Department’s SVI-built Tandem Heavy Rescue features a strong 24-foot aluminum body, mounted on a Spartan Gladiator LFD chassis with a 24-inch raised roof. The Gladiator houses a Cummins ISX15 565HP engine.

The new walk-around Heavy Rescue features Command Light’s TFB-V5 Traffic Flow Board and CL602A-FX light tower with 168,000 lumens. The department chose Holmatro’s CORE Rescue Tool System with an HPU capable of operating two rescue tools simultaneously and a rescue-style front bumper with 60′ hydraulic reels. The SCBA filling system includes a Bauer two-position fill station and an abundance of bottle storage.

Powered by a Cummins ISX12 500HP engine, this new walk-around Heavy Rescue features a Resolve Specialty Space Saver SCBA filling station, OnScene Solutions cargo slides with compartment lighting, a 240,000-lumen Command Light CL Series 8-head light tower and much more!

El Dorado Fire District Heavy Rescue

Santa Fe County’s El Dorado Fire District has added this SVI-built Heavy Rescue. Mounted to a Spartan Metro Star chassis, this heavy-duty aluminum body maximizes compartment space with select transverse trays. This fire truck also features a Weldon V-MUX multiplex system and a Command Light CL Series tower with six heads.
