Kamloops British Columbia Heavy Rescue

When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, Kamloops (BC) Fire Rescue chose a 22′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a 10″ raised-roof Spartan Gladiator chassis, which houses an X15 600 HP Cummins engine. This fully equipped apparatus comes with an Onan Hydraulic 25,000-watt PTO Generator,  Will-Burt Nightscan light tower, Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty cargo slides, and much more.

Heavy Rescue 21

Provo Fire & Rescue’s new Heavy Rescue 21 (HR21) is the first Heavy Rescue in Utah County. It carries four personnel and can be deployed to vehicle extrication, structural collapse, confined space, rope rescue, trench rescue, swiftwater rescue, and hazardous materials incidents. There are 5,000 pieces of rescue equipment totaling 24,000 pounds.
