Heavy Rescue 21
Provo Fire & Rescue’s new Heavy Rescue 21 (HR21) is the first Heavy Rescue in Utah County. It carries four personnel and can be deployed to vehicle extrication, structural collapse, confined space, rope rescue, trench rescue, swiftwater rescue, and hazardous materials incidents. There are 5,000 pieces of rescue equipment totaling 24,000 pounds.

Scranton, PA Heavy Rescue Walk-In
When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, the Scranton, PA Fire Department chose a 26′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Sutphen 36″ 2-door chassis, which houses a Cummins X12 500HP engine. This walk-in apparatus comes with rear crew area with bench seat and overhead storage areas, an Onan Protec 20k-watt PTO generator system, Will-Burt Night Scan Powerlite on telescoping light tower, OnScene Solutions surface-mount red/white LEDs and much more.

Columbus, OH Walk-In Heavy Rescue Fleet #1196-1200
When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue fleet, the Columbus, OH Fire Department chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Sutphen Monarch 73″ chassis, which houses a Cummins X12 455 HP engine. These walk-in apparatus feature a cab/body walk-thru connection complete with a folding bench seat and storage compartments. The rescues are also equipped with an Onan Protec 25,000-watt PTO generator, Hannay electric cable and hose reels with power rewind, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty aluminum cargo slides, and much more.

When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, the Keyser, WV Fountain Volunteer Fire Company chose a 23′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Sutphen 73″ chassis, which houses a Cummins X12 455 HP engine. This special operations apparatus comes with a Onan Protec 25k-watt PTO generator, Command Light Knight Series light tower, Girard retractable lateral arm awning, walk-in area with bench seat, desk, storage cabinets and much more.
