Space Saving Extrication Equipment Mounting
We typically only post Heavy Rescues rigs on this site but the new Tower 13 from Claymont Fire Company in Delaware deserves a quick look. The craftsmen at First Due Fabrication packed a bunch of extrication equipment into a few compartments of their new 2021 Pierce Arrow XT Ascendant. The Paratech and Hurst extrication equipment is packaged into each compartment to maximize the space. The slide outs boards and tilt-down mounts ensure the tools can be deployed quickly.
Mounting Paratech Strut Tips is often an afterthought in many rigs. First Due Fabrication used Poly-Tech America’s Base End Quick Mounts. A clean and simple mount to secure and store tips.
