Here’s a preview of Kentland, Maryland Volunteer Fire Department’s new Rescue Engine. Video, photos and specs via Pierce Manufacturing.
As this apparatus will run as an engine and heavy duty rescue squad, the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department from the state of Maryland, carefully thought out each compartment to assure that no space was wasted.
Due to the proximity of the homes to the streets in their area, each of the trays in the front bumper will have 150’ of 1.5” hose with a fog nozzle, replacing the typical crosslay area with storage for portable hose bags.
Kentland’s rescue pumper also features a winch point in the front and low hosebed in the rear.
